Kentucky High School Basketball - McCreary Central knocked off by Lincoln County

The Lincoln County Patriots basketball team scored 45 points and held the visiting McCreary Central Raiders to 36 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Patriots now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Garrard County for a District 45 contest on Tuesday, January 10. Lincoln County will meet a Golden Lions team coming off a 67-56 non-league loss to Apollo (Owensboro, KY). The Golden Lions record now stands at 7-5.

The Raiders (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Adair County (Columbia, KY). The Indians enter the non-league contest with a 10-4 record. In their last contest, Adair County was defeated by Rockcastle County (Mt. Vernon, KY), 60-57, in a non-league contest.
