Valley City Hi-Liners (Valley City, ND) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lisbon Broncos (Lisbon, ND), 76-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Valley City upgrades its record to 1-8 on the season. The Hi-Liners host Shanley (Fargo, ND) to clash with the Deacons in a A East bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Deacons go into the bout with a record of 3-5. Shanley won 72-45 in their recent league bout against Wahpeton (Wahpeton, ND)

Next up, the Broncos clash with the Tri-State co-op [Rosholt/Fairmount/Campbell-Tintah] Tigers (Rosholt, SD) in a B Region 1 bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Lisbon will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 77-49 league loss to Hankinson (Hankinson, ND).
