The Logan County Cougars basketball team (Russellville, KY), was toppled 77-64 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Trigg County Wildcats (Cadiz, KY)

The Wildcats now possess a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Webster County for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 10. Trigg County will confront a Trojans team coming off a 61-50 non-league loss to Paducah Tilghman (Paducah, KY). The Trojans record now stands at 5-5.

The Cougars (3-9) will now prepare for their battle against Todd County Central (Elkton, KY). The Rebels come into the District 13 battle with a 10-7 record. In their last battle, Todd County Central was toppled by Franklin-Simpson (Franklin, KY), 46-45, in a league battle.
