In Saturday's non-league match, the host Mathews Mustangs basketball team scored a decisive 67-42 triumph over the Madonna Blue Dons.
In their next game, the Mustangs face the Harding Skippers (Fairport Harbor, OH) in a Northeastern match, on Tuesday, January 10. Mathews will attempt to move on its 7-4 season record. The Skippers enter the match with a 3-7 record after their 62-49 league win over Chalker (Southington, OH).
