The Mammoth Huskies basketball team (Mammoth Lakes, CA), was nudged 55-54 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Sierra Lutheran Falcons (Carson City, NV)

The Falcons now possess a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sage Ridge for a 1A Western battle on Friday, January 13.

The Huskies (6-6) will now prepare for their battle against Desert (Edwards AFB, CA). The Scorpions come into the High Desert battle with a 8-4 record. In their last battle, Desert was nudged by Bishop Union (Bishop, CA), 51-42, in a league battle.
