The Sages now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clinton for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 10. Monticello will battle a Maroons team coming off a 59-26 non-league win over Calvary Christian Academy (Normal, IL). The Maroons record now stands at 15-3.
The Eagles (12-5) will now prepare for their battle against Effingham (Effingham, IL). The Flaming Hearts come into the non-league battle with a 6-12 record. In their last battle, Effingham dropped by Mt. Zion (Mt. Zion, IL), 59-48, in a league battle.
