Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Moravian Academy can't hold off Southern Lehigh

The Southern Lehigh Spartans basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Moravian Academy Lions to 52 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Spartans now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Saucon Valley for a Colonial - East contest on Monday, January 9. Southern Lehigh will battle a Panthers team coming off a 61-48 league win over Northwestern Lehigh (New Tripoli, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 10-1.
The Lions (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Catasauqua (Catasauqua, PA). The Rough Riders enter the non-league contest with a 2-9 record. In their last contest, Catasauqua nudged Palisades (Kintnersville, PA), 56-54, in a non-league contest.
