The Nettleton Tigers basketball team scored 67 points and held the host Saltillo Tigers to 58 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Tigers now sport a 16-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Noxubee County for a 3A Region 4 contest on Tuesday, January 10. Nettleton will meet a Tigers team coming off a 60-59 non-league win over West Lowndes (Columbus, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 2-5.

The Tigers (15-5) will now prepare for their contest against West Point (West Point, MS). The Green Wave enter the 5A Region 1 contest with a 4-4 record.
