Ohio High School Basketball - Padua Franciscan knocked off by University School

The University School Preppers basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Padua Franciscan Bruins to 48 in the Preppers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Preppers now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gilmour Academy for a non-league contest on Friday, January 13. University School will battle a Lancers team coming off a 57-44 non-league loss to Maple Heights (Maple Heights, OH). The Lancers record now stands at 5-6.

The Bruins (3-8) will now prepare for their contest against Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin (Chardon, OH). The Lions enter the Crown contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin ran past Barberton (Barberton, OH), 78-53, in a non-league contest.
