In Saturday's non-league match, the host Penn Kingsmen basketball team scored a decisive 87-42 triumph over the Valparaiso Vikings.

In their next game, the Kingsmen face the Warsaw Tigers (Warsaw, IN) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, January 10. Penn will attempt to move on its 8-1 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 6-4 record after their 47-41 league win over Northridge (Middlebury, IN).

With the defeat, Valparaiso moves to 7-6 on the year. The Vikings travel to Michigan City (Michigan City, IN) to face the Wolves in a Duneland match on Friday, January 13. The Wolves enter the match with a record of 8-3.
