The Rodriguez Mustangs (Fairfield, CA) basketball nipped the host Pittsburg Pirates (Pittsburg, CA), 51-48 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Mustangs (7-9) will now prepare for their test against Inderkum (Sacramento, CA). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 12-2 record. In their last test, Inderkum got by Roseville (Roseville, CA), 91-27, in a league test.
