The Plainfield Panthers (Central Village, CT) basketball nipped the visiting Tourtellotte Tigers (North Grosvenordale, CT), 42-39 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Panthers (1-5) will now prepare for their test against Harvard Ellis Tech (Killingly, CT). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 2-6 record.
