The Strasburg/Zeeland Clippers (Strasburg, ND) basketball nipped the visiting Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] Battlers (Gettysburg, SD), 51-50 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Clippers (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Herreid/Selby (Herreid, SD). The Wolverines go into the non-league test with a 3-2 record.

The Battlers now own a 0-6 record. They play next when they host Aberdeen Christian for a non-league test on Friday, January 13. Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 52-49 non-league win over Oakes (Oakes, ND). The Knights record now stands at 5-0.
