Windom Eagles (Windom, MN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Sibley East Wolverines (Arlington, MN), 90-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Windom upgrades its record to 5-5 on the season. The Eagles travel to Pipestone (Pipestone, MN) to clash with the Arrows in a AA Section 3 bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Arrows go into the bout with a record of 6-3. Pipestone won 72-48 in their recent league bout against Minnewaska Area (Glenwood, MN)

Next up, the Wolverines clash with the Le Sueur-Henderson Giants (Le Sueur, MN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Sibley East will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Giants go into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 76-42 non-league loss to Waseca (Waseca, MN).
