In Saturday's non-league outing, the Wetumpka Indians (Wetumpka, AL) basketball squad beat the host Tallassee Tigers (Tallassee, AL), by a count of 69-60.
The Indians (13-3) will now prepare for their outing against Lanier (Montgomery, AL). The Poets go into the 6A Area 3 outing with a 11-7 record. In their last outing, Lanier defeated Carver Montgomery (Montgomery, AL), 57-56, in a league outing.
