In Saturday's non-league match, the host Western Branch Bruins basketball team scored a good 65-45 triumph over the Woodbridge Vikings.
In their next game, the Bruins meet the Nansemond River Warriors (Suffolk, VA) in a Southeastern match, on Friday, January 13. Western Branch will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record.
