The Academy of the Holy Angels Angels basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Passaic Valley Hornets to 34 in the Angels non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Angels now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to DePaul Catholic for a Big North - United contest on Thursday, January 12.

The Hornets (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Wayne Hills (Wayne, NJ). The Patriots enter the non-league contest with a 7-0 record. In their last contest, Wayne Hills triumphed over DePaul Catholic (Wayne, NJ), 57-16, in a non-league contest.
