Exira-EHK Spartans (Elk Horn, IA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center (Guthrie Center, IA), 68-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Exira-EHK upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Spartans travel to West Harrison (Mondamin, IA) to play the Hawkeyes in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Hawkeyes go into the bout with a record of 2-5. West Harrison lost 85-15 in their recent league bout against Woodbine (Woodbine, IA)

Next up, the play the Earlham Cardinals (Earlham, IA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 13. Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record.
