Georgia High School Basketball - South Cobb trounced by Alexander

January 7, 2023: Austell, GA 30106

The Alexander Cougars routed the host South Cobb Eagles basketball team by a final score of 50-3 in Saturday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Cougars face the East Paulding Raiders (Dallas, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 5 game, on Tuesday, January 10. Alexander will attempt to move on its 8-6 season record. The Raiders enter the game with a 5-9 record after their 51-21 non-league win over Woodland (Cartersville, GA).

With the defeat, South Cobb moves to 1-10 on the year. The Eagles host Riverwood (Atlanta, GA) to face the Raiders in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 10. The Raiders enter the game with a record of 7-7. Riverwood lost 50-26 in their recent non-league game against Galloway (Atlanta, GA)
