The West Aurora Blackhawks (Aurora, IL) basketball knocked off the visiting Aurora East Tomcats (Aurora, IL), 53-45 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Blackhawks (9-8) will now prepare for their test against Neuqua Valley (Naperville, IL). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 11-8 record. In their last test, Neuqua Valley notched a victory over Oswego East (Oswego, IL), 62-53, in a non-league test.

The Tomcats now own a 14-4 record. They play next when they host Fenton for a Upstate Eight test on Tuesday, January 10. Aurora East will encounter a Bison squad coming off a 55-50 non-league loss to Westmont (Westmont, IL). The Bison record now stands at 8-9.
