In Saturday's non-league match, the host Blazer Tomcats basketball team scored a decisive 70-40 triumph over the Bath County Wildcats.

In their next game, the Tomcats meet the Fleming County Panthers (Flemingsburg, KY) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, January 11. Blazer will attempt to move on its 9-2 season record.

With the defeat, Bath County moves to 9-7 on the year. The Wildcats host Bluegrass United (Lexington, KY) to meet the Bluehawks in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 10. The Bluehawks enter the match with a record of 7-10.
