In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Hanover Park Hornets basketball team scored a good 48-34 triumph over the Bernards Mountaineers.
In their next game, the Hornets meet the Madison Dodgers (Madison, NJ) in a Northwest Jersey - Independence match, on Tuesday, January 10. Hanover Park will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Dodgers enter the match with a 6-1 record after their 57-31 non-league win over Kinnelon (Kinnelon, NJ).
With the defeat, Bernards moves to 6-3 on the year. The Mountaineers host Manville (Manville, NJ) to confront the Mustangs in a Skyland - Mountain challenge on Thursday, January 12. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 3-4.
