Boonton Bombers (Boonton, NJ) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Newton Braves (Newton, NJ), 45-26 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Boonton upgrades its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Bombers travel to Parsippany (Parsippany, NJ) to play the Redhawks in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Redhawks come into the bout with a record of 3-3.

Next up, the Braves play the High Point Wildcats (Sussex, NJ) in a Northwest Jersey - Freedom bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Newton will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record.
