Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Brentwood School Eagles (Los Angeles, CA) and the host Mount Miguel Matadors (Spring Valley, CA), saw Brentwood School's basketball squad hold off Mount Miguel by a tally of 57-54.

With the victory, Brentwood School improves its record to 15-3 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Campbell Hall (North Hollywood, CA) to confront the Vikings in a Gold Coast challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 10-7. Campbell Hall won 71-31 in their recent non-league challenge against Milken (Los Angeles, CA)

Next up, the Matadors confront the Grossmont Foothillers (El Cajon, CA) in a Grossmont - Hills challenge, on Friday, January 13. Mount Miguel will attempt to improve on its 7-6 season record.
