The Burns Hilanders basketball team (Burns, OR), dropped 64-51 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Nixyaawii Community Eagles (Pendleton, OR)
The Eagles now sport a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Echo for a 1A Old Oregon battle on Friday, January 13. Nixyaawii Community will battle a Cougars team coming off a 42-20 non-league loss to Damascus Christian (Damascus, OR). The Cougars record now stands at 6-5.
The Hilanders (8-4) will now prepare for their battle against Vale (Vale, OR). The Vikings come into the 3A Eastern Oregon battle with a 6-5 record.
