In Saturday's non-league outing, the William Penn Bearcats (York, PA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Central Dauphin East Panthers (Harrisburg, PA), by a margin of 60-27.
The Bearcats (5-4) will now prepare for their outing against Spring Grove (Spring Grove, PA). The Rockets go into the York-Adams 1 outing with a 3-7 record. In their last outing, Spring Grove was trounced by Shippensburg (Shippensburg, PA), 63-60, in a non-league outing.
The Panthers now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they host State College for a Mid-Penn - Commonwealth outing on Tuesday, January 10.
