The Deer Trail Eagles (Deer Trail, CO) basketball knocked off the host Hanover Hornets (Colorado Springs, CO), 30-21 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Eagles (4-1) will now prepare for their test against Idalia (Idalia, CO). The Wolves go into the non-league test with a 4-3 record. In their last test, Idalia notched a victory over Hi-Plains (Seibert, CO), 37-22, in a league test.
The Hornets now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Bethune for a non-league test on Friday, January 13. Hanover will encounter a Bobcats squad coming off a 45-28 league loss to Lone Star (Otis, CO). The Bobcats record now stands at 2-4.
