DSST: Montview Knights (Denver, CO) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lake County Panthers (Leadville, CO), 49-27 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, DSST: Montview upgrades its record to 4-5 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Jefferson (Edgewater, CO) to play the Saints in a 3A Frontier bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Saints come into the bout with a record of 3-4. Jefferson won 60-21 in their recent non-league bout against Fort Lupton (Fort Lupton, CO)

Next up, the Panthers play the Sheridan Rams (Denver, CO) in a 3A Frontier bout, on Thursday, January 12. Lake County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Rams come into the battle with a 1-5 record after their 26-14 league win over The Pinnacle (Federal Heights, CO).
