Haddon Heights Garnets (Haddon Heights, NJ) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Egg Harbor Township Eagles (Egg Harbor Township, NJ), 46-35 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Haddon Heights upgrades its record to 1-7 on the campaign. The Garnets host Gateway Regional (Woodbury Heights, NJ) to play the Gators in a Colonial bout on Monday, January 9. The Gators come into the bout with a record of 7-1. Gateway Regional lost 26-21 in their recent non-league bout against Gloucester County Tech (Sewell, NJ)

Next up, the Eagles play the Atlantic City Vikings (Atlantic City, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 11. Egg Harbor Township will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record.
