The University Titans basketball team (Orange City, FL), was nudged 48-46 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Father Lopez Green Wave (Daytona Beach, FL)
The Green Wave now sport a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Trinity Catholic for a non-league battle on Wednesday, January 11. Father Lopez will battle a Celtics team coming off a 64-55 non-league win over Dunnellon (Dunnellon, FL). The Celtics record now stands at 10-6.
The Titans (6-9) will now prepare for their battle against Calvary Christian Academy (Ormond Beach, FL). The Lions come into the non-league battle with a 7-2 record. In their last battle, Calvary Christian Academy edged Halifax Academy (Daytona Beach, FL), 58-19, in a league battle.
