In Saturday's non-league outing, the Pleasant Valley Spartans (Pleasant Valley, IA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Geneseo Maple Leafs (Geneseo, IL), by a margin of 56-27.
The Spartans (12-0) will now prepare for their outing against Davenport West (Davenport, IA). The Falcons go into the Mississippi outing with a 1-6 record. In their last outing, Davenport West smashed Riverdale (Port Byron, IL), 42-37, in a non-league outing.
