The Nandua Warriors (Onley, VA) basketball nipped the host Granby Comets (Norfolk, VA), 43-41 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Warriors (3-5) will now prepare for their test against Holly Grove Christian (Westover, MD). The go into the non-league test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Holly Grove Christian got by Chincoteague (Chincoteague, VA), 37-11, in a non-league test.
The Comets now own a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Norview for a Eastern test on Tuesday, January 10. Granby will encounter a Pilots squad coming off a 69-2 league win over Churchland (Portsmouth, VA). The Pilots record now stands at 9-3.
