Georgia High School Basketball - Langston Hughes edges Griffin

The Langston Hughes Panthers (Fairburn, GA) basketball nipped the visiting Griffin Bears (Griffin, GA), 54-47 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Panthers (9-4) will now prepare for their test against Douglas County (Douglasville, GA). The Tigers go into the AAAAAA Region 5 test with a 8-4 record. In their last test, Douglas County was tipped by Rockdale County (Conyers, GA), 63-56, in a non-league test.

The Bears now own a 14-2 record. They play next when they travel to Spalding for a AAAA Region 2 test on Saturday, January 14.
