The Henderson County Colonels (Henderson, KY) basketball knocked off the visiting Southwestern Warriors (Somerset, KY), 61-41 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Colonels (10-3) will now prepare for their test against Union County (Morganfield, KY). The Braves go into the District 6 test with a 8-3 record.

The Warriors now own a 7-7 record. They play next when they host McCreary Central for a District 48 test on Monday, January 9. Southwestern will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 65-32 non-league loss to Knox Central (Barbourville, KY). The Raiders record now stands at 3-6.
