The South Hunterdon Eagles (Lambertville, NJ) basketball nipped the host Immaculata Spartans (Somerville, NJ), 30-28 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Eagles (4-3) will now prepare for their test against Manville (Manville, NJ). The Mustangs go into the Skyland - Mountain test with a 3-4 record. In their last test, Manville was tipped by Spotswood (Spotswood, NJ), 50-30, in a non-league test.
The Spartans now own a 6-3 record. They play next when they host Ridge for a Skyland - Raritan test on Tuesday, January 10. Immaculata will encounter a Red Devil squad coming off a 53-39 non-league win over Summit (Summit, NJ). The Red Devil record now stands at 4-5.
