In Saturday's non-league outing, the Lyons Lions (LaGrange, IL) basketball squad nipped the visiting Trinity Blazers (River Forest, IL), by a margin of 46-43.

The Lions (15-4) will now prepare for their outing against Glenbard West (Glen Ellyn, IL). The Hilltoppers go into the West Suburban - Silver outing with a 11-7 record. In their last outing, Glenbard West got by Lemont (Lemont, IL), 78-47, in a non-league outing.

The Blazers now own a 12-8 record. They play next when they travel to Mother McAuley for a Girls Catholic - Red outing on Thursday, January 12.
