Madison Central Jaguars (Madison, MS) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Warren Central Vikings (Vicksburg, MS), 51-32 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Madison Central upgrades its record to 11-7 on the season. The Jaguars host Clinton (Clinton, MS) to clash with the Arrows in a 6A Region 4 bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Arrows go into the bout with a record of 14-3. Clinton won 53-39 in their recent non-league bout against Harrison Central (Gulfport, MS)

Next up, the Vikings clash with the Terry Bulldogs (Terry, MS) in a 6A Region 6 bout, on Friday, January 13. Warren Central will attempt to upgrade on its 9-6 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 7-13 record after their 61-26 league loss to Northwest Rankin (Brandon, MS).
