Madison Central Indians (Richmond, KY) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Woodford County Yellowjackets (Versailles, KY), 66-23 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Madison Central upgrades its record to 12-2 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Anderson County (Lawrenceburg, KY) to play the Bearcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Bearcats come into the bout with a record of 15-1. Anderson County won 52-22 in their recent league bout against Shelby County (Shelbyville, KY)

Next up, the Yellowjackets play the Franklin County Flyers (Frankfort, KY) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 7. Woodford County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record. The Flyers come into the bout with a 9-2 record after their 66-23 league win over Western Hills (Frankfort, KY).
