The Maxwell Wildcats basketball team (Maxwell, NE), was routed 60-31 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Overton Eagles (Overton, NE)

The Eagles now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brady for a D2 District 8 battle on Tuesday, January 10. Overton will battle a Eagles team coming off a 36-32 non-league win over Arthur County (Arthur, NE). The Eagles record now stands at 2-9.
