In Saturday's non-league match, the host Anchorage Christian Lions basketball team scored a decisive 79-29 triumph over the South Anchorage Wolverines.
In their next game, the Lions meet the Colony Knights (Palmer, AK) in a 4A Northern Lights match, on Friday, January 20. Anchorage Christian will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record.
With the defeat, South Anchorage moves to 0-3 on the year. The Wolverines host Chugiak (Chugiak, AK) to meet the Mustangs in a 4A Cook Inlet match on Tuesday, January 10. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 0-1. Chugiak lost 47-32 in their recent non-league match against Mt. Edgecumbe (Sitka, AK)
