The Zuni Thunderbirds routed the host Native American Community Academy Eagles basketball team by a final score of 59-36 in Saturday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Thunderbirds face the Navajo Prep Eagles (Farmington, NM) in a 3A District 1 game, on Monday, January 9. Zuni will attempt to move on its 6-2 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 8-3 record after their 67-16 non-league loss to Kirtland Central (Kirtland, NM).
