California High School Basketball - Vaughn thwarts North Hollywood

The Vaughn White Tigers (San Fernando, CA) basketball knocked off the host North Hollywood Huskies (North Hollywood, CA), 39-29 in Saturday's non-league test.
The White Tigers (9-4) will now prepare for their test against East Valley (North Hollywood, CA). The Falcons go into the Valley test with a 6-3 record. In their last test, East Valley went down by Sherman Oaks CES (Reseda, CA), 43-31, in a league test.
The Huskies now own a 7-7 record. They play next when they host Grant for a East Valley test on Monday, January 9. North Hollywood will encounter a Lancers squad coming off a 54-10 league loss to Poly (Sun Valley, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 2-5.
