The Sigourney Savages (Sigourney, IA) basketball crushed the visiting Pekin Panthers (Packwood, IA), 58-13 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Savages (6-6) will now prepare for their test against B-G-M (Brooklyn, IA). The Bears go into the South Iowa Cedar test with a 3-6 record.
The Panthers now own a 0-11 record. They play next when they host Wapello for a SEI - North test on Tuesday, January 10. Pekin will encounter a Indians squad coming off a 38-17 league win over Louisa-Muscatine (Letts, IA). The Indians record now stands at 4-6.
