California High School Basketball - University City overwhelmed by San Clemente

The San Clemente Tritons basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the visiting University City Centurions to 38 in the Tritons non-league victory on Saturday.

The Tritons now sport a 16-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Aliso Niguel for a South Coast contest on Tuesday, January 10. San Clemente will battle a Wolverines team coming off a 61-55 non-league win over Carlsbad (Carlsbad, CA). The Wolverines record now stands at 5-11.

The Centurions (8-8) will now prepare for their contest against Hoover (San Diego, CA). The Cardinals come into the City contest with a 9-7 record. In their last contest, Hoover was routed by Chaparral (Temecula, CA), 44-39, in a non-league contest.
