Illinois High School Basketball - Decatur Lutheran overwhelmed by South Fork

The South Fork Ponies basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the visiting Decatur Lutheran Lions to 17 in the Ponies non-league victory on Saturday.
The Ponies now sport a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nokomis for a MSM contest on Monday, January 9. South Fork will battle a Redskins team coming off a 54-22 non-league win over Okaw Valley (Bethany, IL). The Redskins record now stands at 16-2.
The Lions (5-11) will now prepare for their contest against Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond (Arthur, IL). The Knights come into the Lincoln Prairie contest with a 12-5 record. In their last contest, Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond triumphed over Blue Ridge (Farmer City, IL), 66-17, in a league contest.
