In their next game, the Royals face the New Castle Trojans (New Castle, IN) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, January 10. Eastern Hancock will attempt to move on its 8-5 season record. The Trojans enter the game with a 0-5 record after their 37-35 non-league loss to Bloomington North (Bloomington, IN).

With the defeat, Union County moves to 1-4 on the year.
