Burleson Elks (Burleson, TX) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Caney Creek Panthers (Conroe, TX), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Elks confront the Centennial Spartans (Burleson, TX) in a 5A Region 1 District 8 challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Burleson will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record. The Spartans enter the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Independence (Frisco, TX).
The Panthers now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Spring for a non-league challenge on Friday, January 13.
