Pebble Hills Spartans (El Paso, TX) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Jones Trojans (Beeville, TX), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Spartans confront the Coronado Thunderbirds (El Paso, TX) in a 6A Region 1 District 1 challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Pebble Hills will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record.

The Trojans now have a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Royal for a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 12.
