KIPP College Prep Panthers (Washington, DC) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Washington Latin Public Charter School Lions (Washington, DC), 70-43 in a league bout.

With the win, KIPP College Prep upgrades its record to 5-6 on the season. The Panthers host Green Street Academy (Baltimore, MD) to play the Chargers in a non-league bout on Monday, January 9. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 3-5. Green Street Academy won 52-33 in their recent league bout against Coppin Academy (Baltimore, MD)

Next up, the Lions play the DC International Dragons (Washington, DC) in a bout, on Friday, January 13. Washington Latin Public Charter School will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
