Cypress Woods Wildcats (Cypress, TX) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Morton Ranch Mavericks (Katy, TX), 6-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Wildcats face the Dekaney Wildcats (Houston, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 12. Cypress Woods will attempt to better on its 4-0 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 9-0 non-league loss to Jordan (Fulshear, TX).
The Mavericks now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Paetow for a 6A Region 3 District 19 challenge on Tuesday, January 10. Morton Ranch will face a Panthers team coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Lamar Consolidated (Rosenberg, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 3-0.
